# Data Indexing

**Data → Indexing** is where you check **search indexes** for your workspace and **refresh** them if something looks wrong.

HeyMilo keeps **two indexes** (you’ll see them as cards on this page):

1. **Candidate Directory**: search over **candidates you’ve already interviewed** in this workspace.
2. **Posting Directory**: search over **job postings** in this workspace.

Each card shows:

* **Status**: e.g. healthy or **needs attention**
* **How many items** are in the index
* **Last indexed**: when it was last updated
* **Reindex**: run this if the page warns you, counts look wrong, or search feels off after a big import or change

You **cannot** pick individual fields or “priorities” here — you only **view status** and **Reindex** (or **Set up** if the product offers it and an index isn’t provisioned yet).

**When to click Reindex**

* The page says **needs attention**, or counts stay at **0** when you already have candidates/postings.
* You imported a lot of candidates or changed postings and search still looks stale.

If Reindex doesn’t fix it, contact [**support@heymilo.ai**](mailto:support@heymilo.ai) and note the **Last indexed** time on each card.
